Are you already getting up a good morning feeling extremely tired? Have you already opened your eyes by really having no strength to face the day ahead?

Know that this morning fatigue is a problem that affects many people and is not really due to lack of sleep during the night, although the latter is essential.

Sleeping enough during the night and waking up tired in the morning is not normal at all. This could even be a cause for concern, especially when we know that many experts have revealed that this morning fatigue could often be a sign of the presence of other diseases.

1. Heart problems:

According to doctors, the first hours of the day are often the most dangerous.

We often hear about blood pressure syncope, which occurs because of the decrease in cerebral perfusion. You should, therefore, consult a doctor urgently in case your condition does not improve over the days and you suffer from repeated dizziness.

2. Hormonal Problems: Hypothyroidism

Hypothyroidism is accompanied by a deficiency of thyroid hormones that affect the normal the functioning of our body. This lack of hormones makes our metabolism work more slowly and our performance decreases in intensity, resulting in a feeling of constant exhaustion.

3. Emotional problems:

Experts agree that our approach to the day is a logical reflection of our physical and moral state. A good condition would allow us to attack a day of work or daily tasks with a lot of energy while the opposite will turn any small spot into a mountain.

Depression is often accompanied by muscle pain, terrible fatigue, apathy, and sadness. And one of the hardest moments of the day is undoubtedly the morning, especially at dawn.

 4. Poor diet or extreme diet:

We must not abuse diets and follow strict rules that often end up generating a fairly serious dietary imbalance at the end of the program.

Such a move could have serious health consequences ranging from fainting, hydroelectric, sodium, and potassium disorders, which can end in irregular heartbeats, or even cardiac arrest. 

How to fight morning fatigue?


  • First, you should report this problem to your doctor: especially if it has lasted for 2 weeks. Indeed, it could be another health problem: heart problem, hypotension, arrhythmias ...
  • Take care of your emotional state: try to deal with your problems, ask questions about your condition, seek support from those around you. Try to change your vision and see the world with a more optimistic eye. Happiness and peace are indispensable energy to face fatigue.
  • Pay attention to the diets you follow: make sure you have a well balanced and varied diet, and always be hydrated.

Other tips:

  • Never skip breakfast: it is the most important meal of the day, it has the power to bring you the energy you need. Opt for fiber and fruit. Eat oats, apples, strawberries or nuts. Disregard cow's milk and replaces it with vegetable milk.
  • Prepare your next day before going to sleep: this will allow you to be ready in the morning and have your breakfast in a better state of mind.
  • Take infusions of ginseng or ginger at least 3 times a week during breakfast. This will bring you energy and vitality.
